Terms, Warranty & Return Policy

Welcome to JonasMods. By purchasing products or services from JonasMods, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies outlined below.

Warranty Policy

JonasMods provides a 90 Day Limited Warranty on eligible controller repairs, upgrades, and custom-built controllers unless otherwise stated.

This warranty covers defects in workmanship, installation related failures, and faulty parts installed by JonasMods.

This warranty does NOT cover physical damage, liquid damage, abuse, misuse, dropping, throwing, crushing, neglect, damage caused by opening or modifying the controller after service, cosmetic wear, normal wear on thumbsticks, rubber grips, shells, or buttons, customer supplied parts unless otherwise approved, or software/account related issues.

Controllers that contain pre-existing modifications from third parties may incur additional labor charges due to complexity. Certain heavily modified controllers may be declined for service entirely.

If warranty service is approved, JonasMods will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion. Customers are responsible for shipping the item to us. Return shipping may be covered depending on the warranty claim.

Warranty becomes VOID if the controller is opened after service, internal modifications are performed by another party, tamper evidence is removed or damaged, or damage is determined to be caused by misuse or external causes.

Repair Service Disclaimer

Electronic repair and modification work carries inherent risk. While JonasMods performs all services professionally and with extreme care, certain devices may contain hidden or pre-existing issues not immediately visible during diagnosis.

By submitting a device for repair or modification, you acknowledge that some repairs may require additional labor or parts beyond the original quote, certain issues may worsen due to prior damage, corrosion, failed repair attempts, or defective components, not all devices are repairable, and rare failures can occur during soldering, disassembly, diagnostics, or testing due to the condition of the device.

JonasMods is not responsible for existing internal damage, previous repair attempts, data loss, manufacturer defects unrelated to our service, or shipping damage caused by carriers.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products and services, all sales are considered final unless otherwise approved.

Eligible returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and returned in original condition.

Custom built controllers, personalized products, installed modifications, labor charges, rush services, shipping costs, and digital products/services are non-refundable.

Approved returns may be subject to a 20% to 25% restocking fee and inspection prior to refund approval.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Cancellations

Orders canceled within 48 hours of purchase may be eligible for cancellation.

Due to parts ordering, labor scheduling, and custom production processes, a cancellation fee of up to 25% may apply, orders already in production may not be canceled, and custom orders cannot be canceled once assembly has begun.

Shipping Policy

Customers are responsible for securely packaging devices shipped to JonasMods.

Tracking, shipping insurance, and protective packaging are strongly recommended.

JonasMods is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during transit to our facility.

Return shipping times may vary depending on location and carrier conditions.

Limited Liability

JonasMods shall not be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, loss of use, data loss, account issues, cosmetic imperfections, or manufacturer defects unrelated to our service.

Total liability shall never exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service provided.

Customer Agreement

By purchasing from JonasMods or submitting a device for service, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and accepted these terms, authorize JonasMods to perform requested work, understand electronic repair/modification carries risk, and accept all warranty limitations and policies outlined above.

Completion of checkout, invoice payment, or service approval constitutes a legally binding electronic agreement.
